well, yesterday wasnt half as bad as i'd have thought. the kids were cute, if not a tad rowdy. there were two really sweet little girls, and the one who was the daughter of the hosts quite liked me, i think, cos she loaded me up with a LOT of stuff before i left, like a notebook, pencil, necklace, jewellery box etc. she also gave me this electronic organiser which me and my dad specially drove over to return to her this morning cos it's too expensive.
anyways, kids are really very interesting. they kind of show, in such an innocent way, all the positive and negative feelings they have, feelings that adults always try so hard to hide.
i went to borders too! bought the restored edition of
Ariel. i've been wanting to buy it for ages now but the hardcover costs around $44 so when i saw the softcover at $27.95 (still not very cheap but slightly better) i was elated and bought it. :D
bahh. rachel told me that brokeback mountain's been rated r21. oh well, it's not like i didnt expect that. but never mind, i shall still find a way to watch the movie, by hook or by crook. oh man, i sound almost evil

we should really get to realising just how lucky we are. but i think it's kind of difficult sometimes, esp when all the people around you seem better off than you are. guess we havent seen enough of the world
